Locating Direct Deposit Set-up Method
To determine the method chosen by your Employer for setting up your direct deposit, you'll need to access the specific section in the app that displays this information.
From the profile tab, select employers. Then select the direct deposit tile against your current employer and select direct deposit from the options.
After selecting 'Direct Deposit', you will encounter one of the three scenarios discussed earlier. Let's now explore the various scenarios your employer may have chosen in order for you to follow to set up your direct deposit.
Scenario A: In-App Enrollment
With this scenario, you are able to set up your direct deposit from start to finish all within the Fuego app.
Step 1:
Once you have followed the steps to get to the Direct deposit section of the Fuego app mentioned earlier, you will come to the Direct Deposit Enrollment page. This page will outline what the next steps of the process for this scenario.
Once You have reviewed this information, select 'Get Started'.
Step 2:
Enter your employee I.D. Number. If you are unsure of where to find this information, select the 'learn more' option that will explain where this information is usually found. After you have entered your employee number, click continue.
Please note: This screen will only show if you are not already using Fuego for one of our On-Demand Pay services.
Step 3:
You will then need to review your employment details for accuracy. Once you have reviewed this, select 'continue'.
Step 4:
After you have read the direct deposit enrollment agreement, select the checkbox and then click 'Complete Enrollment'. Please note that you will not be able to select the 'Complete Enrollment' button until you have checked the agreement box.
Step 5:
You will know you have completed these steps successfully when there is a green checkmark next to the direct deposit area in the employers section of the app. You will also see a green 'Enrolled' box next to the direct deposit option.
Congratulations! You have successfully set up your Direct Deposit.
Please note: It may take one or two pay cycles for your payment methods to be updated depending on your employer
Scenario B: Providing Your Routing and Account Number to Your Employer
In this scenario, you need to share the routing and account number associated to your Fuego account with your employer. To easily find this information within the Fuego app, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1. Select the Card tab from the menu at the bottom of the screen, then select Digital Card.
Step 2. This will route you to your card controls where you can access account and routing numbers, by clicking the eye icon to reveal the details.
Scenario C: Following instructions provided to you by your employer in the Fuego App
While this scenario shares similarities with the others, the key distinction lies in your employer's involvement in providing instructions for setting up your direct deposit. To access these instructions within the Fuego app, kindly follow the steps outlined below.
From the profile tab, select employers. Then select the direct deposit tile against your current employer and select direct deposit from the options.
Upon completion of the process, you will be directed to a dedicated page where you will receive important instructions from your employer regarding the subsequent steps required to set up your direct deposit.
For instance, you may encounter a message instructing you to provide your Fuego Card routing and account number to your employer.
However, please be aware that your employer may provide alternative instructions that differ from the aforementioned example. It is important to carefully follow the provided instructions to ensure the correct setup of your direct deposit.
