Overview
Depending on your employer's setup, the Fuego app offers two choices for On-Demand Pay1: 'Earned Wage Access' or 'Tip Pay Out'.
This article covers details for both options and shows how to switch between them, so you can make the choice that suits you best.
Earned Wage Access
By opting for Earned Wage Access you will be able to draw up to 50% of your wages before payday, based on hours and tips that are available. This gives you the flexibility to choose how much money you want to draw, and when, ensuring you have visibility of what will be left over for payday. This might be the right option for you if you work mainly in tipped positions but don't need all of your tip money after every shift, or if you're a back-of-house team member and don't really benefit very much from tips.
Tip Pay Out
By opting for Tip Pay Out, you will automatically receive a percentage of your tips based on a set schedule or when your employer chooses to pay them out - this will typically be daily or after every shift you work but is subject to employer preference. If you work mainly tipped positions and need your tip money as soon as it becomes available, this could be the best option for you.
Switching Services

For example, if your pay period runs from Oct 16th to Oct 30th, and the cut-off for using On Demand pay for that pay period ends on Oct 31st, the switch will come into effect on that date (the 31st). You can also cancel the request while it is pending.
